About Economics & Society

Economics & Society is an annual publication by the Economic Society of Singapore (ESS). Each issue is a collection of articles centered around a theme that serves to highlight the real human issues beneath the perceived dispassionate veneer of economics. By presenting a combination of the rigour of positive economics and dilemmas posed by normative economics, Economics & Society aims to stimulate thinking and bring readers back to the heart of economics - making good choices for the betterment of society.
